Dr. Shanna Sullivan
Chiropractor & Owner
Dr. Sullivan attended Dalhousie University where she studied Kinesiology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Throughout her education she focused on the biomechanics of dancers, as well as pre- and post-natal care. Dr. Sullivan takes a functional approach to movement, and tailors’ treatments to meet the goals of any patient, whether they are a child, office-worker, or elite athlete. Her treatments consist of manual adjustments, myofascial release therapy (MRT), instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises and nutritional counseling.
Dr. Sullivan is well-known in the dance industry for her revolutionary dance science program, Dance Mechanics. In addition, she founded a virtual fitness studio called DMWfit where she and her team teach barre, yoga and pilates.
Dr. Danielle Schiefer
Chiropractor & Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider
Dr. Danielle attended Western University where she majored in physiology and biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with honours. She is a certified contemporary medical acupuncture provider from McMaster University and a GrowCo certified post-natal fitness specialist. She is also currently working to become a Functional Nutrition practitioner.
Dr. Danielle is an evidence-based chiropractor, utilizing a variety of techniques to create individualized treatment plans. These techniques include joint manipulation, acupuncture, and a range of different soft tissue release techniques, including instrument-assisted soft tissue. She combines these with rehabilitative exercise and proper lifestyle education to improve function, decrease pain, and ultimately help patients achieve their goals. She treats all ages with complaints ranging from head to toe. She believes in the importance of understanding a patient as a whole and getting to the root of the problem.
Registered Massage Therapist
Darlene is an RMT with experience in varied environments such as the Covenant House and Toronto Rehab’s MSK and Stroke inpatient centre.
Her treatment approach is holistic and she not only targets the area of complaint, but addresses the whole body and its relation to the concern. She is currently a post-diploma BSc student and ensures to stay up to date with the latest research in order to serve her patients better.
Darlene can range from Swedish massage to deep tissue, and also incorporates lymphatic drainage and fascial work.
Registered Massage Therapist
Igor graduated from the Massage Therapy program in 2009 at Wellspring College. Prior to Massage Therapy, Igor was a registered nurse in Belorussia. He is currently part of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Japanese Shiatsu and Holistic Medicine Society of Canada.
Igor uses his extensive medical knowledge and work experience as an RMT to provide high quality deep tissue, relaxation or Shiatsu style massage therapy. In addition, Igor ensures that each patient understands their specific condition and provides them with the tools and education to help ease discomfort at home on their own.
