Athletic Therapy focuses on the prevention, assessment, and treatment of injuries to muscles, bones, and joints. While the word “athletic” might make you think it’s only for athletes, Athletic Therapy is for everyone—whether you’re recovering from a workplace injury, dealing with everyday aches and pains, or aiming to return to sport.
Athletic Therapists use a combination of hands-on treatment, exercise rehabilitation, and education to help you move better, recover faster, and prevent future injuries. The goal is always to restore mobility, strength, and function so you can get back to doing the activities you love.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your first appointment will begin with a detailed assessment to understand your injury, lifestyle, and goals. From there, your Athletic Therapist will create a personalized treatment plan that may include:
