Kaitlin Kawam is a Toronto-based Certified Athletic Therapist with a passion for movement, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. She takes a personalized, holistic, and evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment, and strives to help clients achieve their goals.

With a background as a competitive and professional dancer, multi-sport athlete, and dance instructor, Kaitlin has first-hand insight into the physical demands athletes place on their bodies and the mental and physical challenges that accompany injury.

Kaitlin earned an Honours Bachelor of Life Sciences from the University of Toronto, majoring in Global Health and Nutrition. Subsequently, she completed a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College, graduating with high distinction and as the recipient of the Dr. Wade Whitten Award for Clinical Excellence.

During her time at Sheridan, Kaitlin treated a diverse range of clients in the Sheridan College Athletic Therapy Clinic, working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and activity levels. She also gained valuable clinical and on-field experience supporting professional beach volleyball athletes at Beach Canada through the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario, and younger athletes at St. Michael’s College School and Branksome Hall across sports including hockey, soccer, football, lacrosse, basketball, running, and swimming.

Kaitlin’s dual perspective as both an athlete and a therapist allows her to approach client care with empathy, insight, and a deep understanding of movement. She is dedicated to helping individuals move with confidence, prevent injury, and unlock their full potential.
